ELLEN G WHITE’S SECOND MOST CONSEQUENTIAL PROPHECY
THE 4000, 6000 YEARS PROPHECIES
HOW IT IS MEANT BY GOD TO BE INTERPRETED
For those familiar with Ellen G. White’s visions, this prophecy about 4000, 6000 years of the Great Controversy ranks second only to the Great controversy vision. Traditionally and presently, this vision has been misunderstood and misinterpreted. It has falsely been a prophecy that pinpoints the year of Christ’s second coming. However, this is an unreasonable conclusion considering that Ellen White employed the four thousand years figure in relation to three different dates and events of the Great controversy, namely, 2 BC for his birth, 27 CE for Christ’s baptism, and 31 CE for his crucifixion.
Despite this clear evidence, some ministers persist in interpreting the vision as a prophecy about the years of Jesus’s coming. However even though the vision does not predict the year of Jesus’s coming, it however makes knowledge of its nearness very apparent. It does this by complementing Daniel 8,9 and 12 as well as Christ’s last generations prophecy as recorded in Matthew, Mark and Luke. This is the most important key for accurate interpretation of this vision received by Ellen G. White. In other words, only an accurate understanding and interpretation of Daniel 8-12 can reveal the true purpose and use which God intended for Ellen G. White’s vision.
Without need to go into extended and total study of the book of Daniel, the important area of relevance is the prophecy about the DAILY and ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. This is because Ellen G. White’s four thousand(4000), six thousand (6000) years vision provides the important two thousand(2000) years link between the events of the two last generations prophesied by Jesus; that of the Jewish nation and that of the World.
In giving this prophecy, Christ made it clear that he was basing it on Daniel’s prophecies. Those sections of Daniel’s prophecies which Christ referenced are Daniel 8, 9, and 12. Ellen G. White’s prophecy therefore provides the BRIDGE BETWEEN THE TWO PROPHETIC PERIODS, that of Daniel 8(and 9) and those of Daniel 12. The prophetic event that provides the BRIDGE is that of the DAILY, TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY as it was fulfilled in the days of Christ here on earth, and the parallel future fulfillment that is only a few years removed from now. Ellen G.White’s vision bridges the two dates in which the DAILY IS TAKEN AWAY by two thousand years, AD 31 and AD 2031. Not having accurate understanding and interpretation of the DAILY is therefore behind the church’s present false interpretation of Ellen G. White’s vision in which it is presumed that the vision’s purpose is to give the date of Jesus’s coming.
Accurate understanding of Daniel and Revelation- When was the Daily taken away in Jesus’s day, and when will it be taken away in the last days of the world?

CHRONOLOGY OF THE EARTH AND ITS RELATION TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
The reader is encouraged to read these two books for detailed information. But we will undertake a brief summary and outline of the important points and keys revealed in these two books.
The DAILY is God the Father and Jesus.
The sanctuary is God’s sanctuary.
There are three cycles or fulfillments of the TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY AND SETTING UP OF ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. The first occurred with the union of Rome(State) and God’s Apostate church leading to the REJECTION AND CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS and the DECLARATION by God’s professed but Apostate church, “We have no king but Caesar(SPIRITUALLY SETTING UP ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION). Eventually, and inevitably, CAESAR AND ROME STOOD UP IN THE HOLY PLACE(GOD’S TEMPLE AND CITY-PLACE CALLED BY HIS NAME) to destroy it-Daniel 8-9. The second was fulfilled in AD 533 by the union of Emperor Justinian(STATE) and the Apostate church represented by the Pope(Bishop) of Rome(CHURCH)-Daniel 11:30-35. The third will be fulfilled in the very near future as recorded in Daniel 12:11,
“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days” – Daniel 12:11 KJVS.
The problem of the Seventh-day Adventist church has been the misinterpreting of the DAILY and ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION prophecy. Her traditional view that the daily is paganism has robbed her of the very key element for the accurate understanding of the purpose of Ellen G. White’s 4000, 6000 years prophecy. As already mentioned the purpose is to bridge the two last generations at the point of the parallel fulfillments of the TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY in the two last generations. The bridge is the two thousand years that come from the 4000, 6000 years.
This is why God gave her the 4000 years in relation to three important events and dates-Birth(2 BC)), Baptism(AD 27), and Crucifixion of Christ(AD 31). According to Daniel’s prophecy(Daniel 8,9 & 12)), these events were the hallmark Great controversy events of the last generation of the Jewish nation. According to Christ’s prophecy these events will have a parallel fulfillment in the last generation of the world. But it is at the event of taking away the daily that the two generations will be linked by Ellen G. White’s 2000 years. Thus, the 31 CE crucifixion of Christ(the FIRST TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY) will be fulfilled again in 2031 CE. The same union of church and state that resulted in the Crucifixion of Christ will fulfill again soon, exactly two thousand years later, to bring about another crucifixion of Christ, a spiritual version. These two dates(AD 31 and AD 2031) mark the UNION OF CHURCH AND STATE that resulted in the REJECTION AND REPLACEMENT OF CHRIST AS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH, and PLACEMENT OF A MAN(AND HIS SUN GOD RELIGION) in his place. From this 2031 CE, Daniel 12 prophetic periods then give the church the LAST SEVEN YEARS PROPHETIC CALENDAR for the completion of the MYSTERY OF GOD(plan of salvation) in this last generation of the world.
Accurate chronology of the earth.
With this study(See the book CHRONOLOGY OF THE EARTH AND ITS RELATION TO THE SECOND COMING), the LATEST GENERATIONS OF THE JEWISH NATION AND THE WORLD ARE DETERMINED. Jesus’s last generation prophecy, “this generation shall not pass…” is verified in respect to the Jewish nation. Likewise, that of the earth is also determined, with the fulfillment of Daniel 12: 11, and with the complement of Ellen G. White’s 4000, 6000 years prophecy.
With accurate understanding of Jesus’s last two generations’ prophecy combined with Biblical Chronology, the LAST GENERATION OF THE JEWISH NATION began with the birth of Jesus, the last of Adam and Abraham’s genealogy(See Matthew 1). This generation was marked by four important Great controversy events:
The BIRTH of Christ.
The BAPTISM of Christ.
The DEATH of Jesus.
The SEALING OF THE NATION IN INIQUITY(NATIONAL CLOSE OF PROBATION).
The STANDING UP OF ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION IN THE SANCTUARY (“HOLY PLACE”).
The END(DESTRUCTION) OF THE NATION. The dates for these events are 2 BC, AD 27, AD 31, AD 34, AD 66, and AD 70 respectively.
Based on Jesus’s dual prophecy, these events, the parallel of these events, are to repeated in the LAST GENERATION OF THE WORLD. So, what Ellen G. White’s 4000, 6000 YEARS does or meant by God to do is PROVIDE A 2000 YEARS LINK BETWEEN THE TWO LAST GENERATIONS. But the prophecy does not link all the listed events of the last generation of the Jewish nation. Guided by Daniel 12, it chooses the most vital event, the AD 31 TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY(CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS) as the linkage point between the two generations.
Thus, based on the 4000, 6000 years prophecy, the Daniel 12 TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY, which will be the third and final fulfillment, will occur in the year of AD 2031. With this link established, Daniel 12 prophetic period arrangement gives us the LAST SEVEN YEARS OF TRIBULATION – 1290 + 1260 = 2550 days. The Standing up of Michael marks the beginning of the 1335 days.
NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY AND HOUR MICHAEL(JESUS) COMES: While know one will know in advance when Michael will stand up, the saints alive at the time will know when it happens because of the event that is prophesied to mark its fulfillment, namely, the beast person planting the tabernacle of his palace in the holy land(Daniel 11:45; 12:1). But the day of Michael(Jesus) appearing in the sky will only be known from God when he announces it to the 144000 saints. After the end of the 1260 days, notice that the Two Witnesses are resurrected and translated 3.5 days later. It is on that day, which is 1263.5th day, that the sixth trumpet is officially ended(Rev 11:11-14). Then an indeterminate period, albeit a most likely short one, passes before the SEVENTH TRUMPET BEGINS TO SOUND(CORRESPONDING WITH THE STANDING UP OF MICHAEL)-Rev11:14,15; Daniel 12:1-3. This marks the beginning of the 1335 days of deliverance and blessing for those 144000 saints who would have been enduring 7 years of persecution since the day the DAILY WAS TAKEN AWAY at the beginning of the 1290 days. Afterwards, again most likely a short period following, Jesus will return. The day and hour of Jesus’s appearing will therefore not be known until God declares it. But while the day and hour when Michael will stand up will not be known in advance, the event that will mark it is known, and that is Daniel 12:45,
“And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him” – Daniel 11:45 KJVS.
The day and hour that the saints at the time(the 144000 saints), witness the above activity of that last King in the land of Palestine, they will know that Michael has stood up. But most importantly, the time of trouble will commence immediately, in the form of the SEVEN LAST PLAGUES.
As can be seen, the church will know APPROXIMATELY the year of Jesus’s return, but will never know the day and hour. The MILLERITE MISTAKE IS NOT GOING TO BE REPEATED. But Jesus still encourages his church to know the times. The church’s gross misinterpretations of Daniel and Revelation has prevented her from concluding what William Miller started.
